Great Adventurers (Week 3)Sample
Day Seven - Set Apart
Welcome to our Great Adventurers Devotional - we are so excited to have you following along with us as we journey and look at some of the Great Adventurers in the Bible.
This week we have been looking at the story of Rack, Shack, and Benny. We have seen how they were 'Set Apart' by God, how God helped them to be BOLD, and trust Him. He kept them safe from the flames of the fiery furnace!
READ:
'The Fiery Furnace' in the Beginners Bible (Pages 247-251) or in Daniel 3.
God had a very special purpose for our three Great Adventurers, Rack, Shack, and Benny. Through them, God showed His miraculous power to the people around them and saved them from the fiery furnace!
When we see God move in powerful ways in our life, we can show Him to the world around us too!
You are Great Adventurers, and you have been 'Set Apart' for a very special reason, just like Rack, Shack, and Benny!
Through the plan that God has for your life, you will be able to show people who God is!
God changed the world that our Great Adventurers lived in - God can change our world too!
ASK:
What have you learned about God this week?
We would love to hear more about what you have learned and what has been your favorite part of learning all about our Great Adventurers in the fiery furnace story! Maybe you can ask your grownup to send us a video on Instagram or Facebook @freedomkidsglobal.
REMEMBER:
'Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible!"' (Matthew 19:26)
SAY:
I’m an adventurer,
I am bold, I am strong with the word of the Lord,
I will follow wherever you lead.
I won’t stop, I’ve been set free.
In Jesus name, Amen!

About this Plan
In the Bible, we see that through ‘Great Adventurers’ God has changed the world around them for good. God can take the seemingly bad things and turn them for good. We will follow in the footsteps of these ‘Great Adventurers’ and see how God, through their boldness, changed the world around them! This week we’re looking at the story of Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego.
