The Palm Sunday PressureSample

Often times we associate joy with happiness. We know that happiness is a feeling based on an event, but joy is a mindset based on Jesus. When everything around us is shaken and counterfeit sources of joy are removed, it reveals misplaced confidence. Jesus is our joy. Although this may be a trying time, we do not have to lose our peace and our joy in this season. We can still praise Jesus. Joy is a choice. It is a determined stance to remain focused on Him.
Questions:
1. What are some things you may have been drawing your joy from previously rather than drawing close to Jesus to satisfy?
2. What is a practical way you can begin to draw your joy from Jesus first?
