CHAT-A-BOX Pt 1. Connecting With GodSample
CONVERSATION STARTERS
Q1) Why do you think people still read the Bible today?
Q2) How would you describe what the Bible is?
What is the Bible all about?
- The Bible is a personal invitation for you to know God.
“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” (Revelation 3:20)
- The Bible tells us God created us for a special purpose.
When God created human beings, he made them to be like himself. He created them male and female, and he blessed them and called them “human.” (Genesis 5:1b-2)
- The Bible tells us how God loves us and wants to save us through Jesus.
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” (John 3:16-17)
- The Bible teaches us the way God wants us to live.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
