Stories Of The Kingdom (Primary Age)Sample
One Sheep
WRAP UP
In our story today, Jesus speaks about a shepherd who has one hundred sheep... until one goes missing. Isn’t it amazing that the shepherd goes looking for the one lost sheep, even though he has ninety-nine others! He searches high and low for the one lost sheep until he finds it. Then when he finds it, he celebrates with all his friends and family!
Just like the shepherd cared for his one lost sheep, God cares for each of us enough to search far and wide. That’s because we are all important to God. God celebrates when His people stop going their own way and turn back to Him. But we can’t do that on our own, so God sent His Son, Jesus, to forgive us for the things we’ve done wrong.

About this Plan
Jesus would often tell short stories called parables when He was speaking to people. These parables would be used by Jesus to teach about a particular aspect of God and His Kingdom, inviting and challenging His listeners to think more deeply about their lives. Jesus’ parables have a lot to teach us today as well! Watch the fun videos and enjoy learning more about God! (Bible study ages 9-12)
