Keep Me From Evil 

It’s a funny thing in this life, but it’s so true: blessing and temptation often come hand in hand. Because when you’re riding high, well, that’s exactly when the devil will try to bring you down. We let down our guard. We stop praying and reading the Word. And then he strikes. 

So when was the last time that you went to God and asked for His protection from temptation?

• What do you think of this idea that temptation often follows a time of blessing? Have you ever seen this play out in your own life?
• Did the devil’s attack catch you off guard? Or were you ready for him?
• Name the blessings that God has given you in your life. Ask Him to give you opportunities to share those blessings with people you meet today.  
• Spend some time in prayer, thanking Him for the amazing and abundant ways in which He continues to bless you. Ask Him to shelter you from temptation and give you the strength and faith to trust in Him when times get tough.
