THE BEST COMES FROM ABOVE
Nothing that happens in this earth is neglected by God. He knows it all and sees it all.
Once again, the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord and God delivered them into the hand of the Philistines.
God had many ways to reveal His power to the Israelites. God raised up another commander for Israel through the birth of a married couple who had long awaited a child. Manoah and his wife were barren and had no children. Samson was born and became a Nazarite (consecrated) to God and grew to be a strong young man.
Samson fell in love with a woman in Timnah, of the daughters of the Philistines. He asked his father and mother to get her for him as a wife. Well, God knew this too and God allowed it happened. It didn't go well for Samson, but God's purposes prevailed.
We do this too many times, don’t we? We insist on our wishes to come true, and God allows it to happen and doesn’t stop it. Often, something that we insist on brings us into another new problem.
The Lord says His plan is not our plan and His ways are not our ways. Let us walk together with God as all the best things come from God.
The Lord says His plan is not our plan and His ways are not our ways.
