Blessed Are The Peacemakers 

The peacemakers are a rare breed. They are those who strive to keep the peace and make peace in the midst of strife and division. It’s sometimes easier to stay quiet and not get involved in the issues that surround us. I mean why meddle in other people’s issues, right? Jesus says that the peacemakers will be called children of God, rightly so since God sent Jesus to reconcile man to Himself. He is the greatest peacemaker and as His children, it should be hard-wired into our hearts to do the same. As Paul says, we have been given the ministry of reconciliation, which means that we must be always prepared to reconcile people with God. Our other task is to also to keep the peace in the places we enter and the spaces we occupy. We must make pursuing peace our priority in relationships so that God is made known and glorified in the process. 

As a child of God, it is in your spiritual DNA to be a peacemaker. Are you walking in the scope of that powerful purpose?
