Love God Greatly - GalatiansSample

Paul makes it clear that whatever a person sows, they shall reap. When we plant seeds of the flesh, we reap corruption. When we plant seeds of the Spirit, we reap God’s promises in our life. God sees all things. When we invest in things of the flesh, our return is temporary pleasure of our flesh. When we invest in things of the Spirit, we have an eternal reward from God.
In what activities and events are you investing your time, your energy, and your money? Are they activities which will yield an eternal reward or temporary pleasure?
Father God, You have prepared a Kingdom inheritance for Your children when You created the world. Lord, help me to be a good steward of all You have given me. Help me surrender to the Holy Spirit so that I will invest in the things of God. Transform my life into one that reflects only You. Lord, I thank You in advance for Your grace, Your mercy, and Your patience with me as we journey together. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan

We are going to experience Paul’s exhortation to the young Christians in Galatia (also meant for us) telling them that all that is necessary – all they need – is the gospel… the good news. Tim Keller says, “The gospel – the message that we are more wicked than we ever dared believe, but more loved and accepted in Christ than we ever dared hope – creates a radical new dynamic for personal growth, for obedience, for love.” And that makes our hearts sing! Galatians summarizes the gospel and what it means to our hearts. This, friends, is life changing.
