When the mountains held their breath and the oceans stilled in wonder on the night of Christ’s birth, it was as if Earth itself had no choice but to stop and give praise. God had come to the world as man, and though the vast majority of mankind might not have known it at the time, because of His entrance, we would be given the greatest gift a human being could ever receive; the gift of eternal, unconditional love and the forgiveness of our sins.

So, then, we must offer up our worship and adoration. It is our proper response, love responding to Love. We celebrate the greatest gift the people of the world have ever been given by showering Him with our love and praise, ultimately, by giving Him the gift of our life in return for His. We are not forced to love Him. God granted us free will, the ability to choose whether or not to believe in Him and offer Him our worship. Loving Him is making a choice to reciprocate the love He already has for us.  Will you choose to bring Him the gift of your love, too?
