The Freedom Of Christ

“IN [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off].” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ 

Christ has completely liberated you from the yoke of bondage. When you surrender to Christ, you do not have to be enslaved to the opinion of man. When Christ is your Lord, you do not have to be a slave to man’s approval. Let Christ lead your heart. Let Christ Lord over your soul. Let His Word rule your heart. 

Proverbs‬ ‭26:11‬ ‭AMPC declares,‬‬ “As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool returns to his folly.” When you are free from the entanglement of the world — you do not have to return to the folly of the past. Let Christ set your heart free from the bondage of pleasing people. Let the past go. Christ has given you the victory. Move forward in His Freedom. His Love is more powerful than the opinion and approval of people. 

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” When you were in sin, you sought the approval of the world. Now that you are in Christ, you are set free from the childish things — and now you’re able to press toward the things that God has set before you. Philippians‬ ‭3:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Press toward the mature things.
