Kingdom Prayers Sample

Gracious Father, Source of all that is good, let me be fully satisfied in You, never seeking anything else or satisfied with anything less. Give me a constant dissatisfaction with anything other than Yourself. Let me never confuse the blessings You provide with Yourself, or the gift for the Giver, or the lesser desires I have for the greater things that await me. Conform me more each day to Jesus’ life and character, and daily put to death anything that varies from His image.

Let Your will be my delight. Let me live to please only You rather than myself or others. May I rejoice to be counted worthy to suffer for You when others see my faith as foolishness, my meekness as weakness, my zeal as madness, my hope as delusion, and my love for You as insanity. Support me with the hope and strength of heaven as I pursue eternal riches. Let me be known as one who lives always and only for You.

Potter 

You are the potter; all creation is the clay. You are working it according to the intention of Your will. I am but a small lump. Thank You for bothering with me at all. I ask that You would make something of exquisite beauty from me that would reflect Your greatness and glory. I know that You must remove many impurities from me to ensure that only fine clay remains. I know that pressure must be exerted on me to shape me. I know that I must face fierce flames to make permanent the shaping You intend. Your pleasure is worth it all. Do what You must. Make me a vessel of use to You and a blessing to others.
