For Theirs Is The Kingdom Of HeavenSample
Not My Will.
“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” Luke 22:42 KJV
Crush your flesh. Surrender your will over to His. Surrender to His Way of doing things. Submit your flesh over to Him daily. Let every area of your heart reflect His heart and character.
When you surrender to God’s Way of doing things, God will guide your footsteps, He will light your path and give you His results. Surrender to His Way. Let the ways of the world go. Fall before Him. Lay before His feet. Choose to serve Him. Choose to honor Christ in everything that you say and do.
Let Christ lead you daily. Let your walk reflect the heart of Christ. Choose to worship Christ. Don’t worship the things of this world. Galatians 5:1 declares, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Choose not to be entangled in the bondage of the past. Do not yoke yourself to the entanglements of the world. Choose to yoke yourself to Christ. Yoke yourself to His Word. Yoke yourself to His Way.
Psalms 24:1 declares, “The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” The entire Earth belongs to God. Don’t worship the gifts of this world — worship God. Don’t worship God because He gives good gifts — choose to worship God simply because He is God. Surrender to His will. Let His Word lead and transform your footsteps. Choose to reflect the heart of Christ in private and in public.
While Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane, He declared in Luke 22:42, “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” Choose to crush your flesh. Let your heart and actions submit to the Word of God. Like Christ — submit your flesh to the will of the Father. Choose to be used by God in private and in public. Surrender to His Kingdom. Surrender to His Way of doing things. Trust God. He’s got you.
