Shall We Continue To Sin?

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬

Now that you’re free in Christ, He has given you access to freedom through His shed Blood. In Christ there is liberty. When you surrender to Christ, bondage becomes a choice. When you surrender to Christ, entanglement becomes a choice. Shall you continue to sin, that grace may abound? No, God forbid. 

When you are in Christ, He has given you the power to overcome sin. As His Child, you are dead to sin and its appetites. When you surrender to Christ, you do not have to follow after sin’s old way of doing things. Choose to surrender to Christ. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Choose to follow after the new Way of living. Choose to follow God’s Pattern. Choose to put off the former things and step forward in the things of Christ. Your old man does not have to keep you entangled. When you are in Christ, your old lusts, old entanglements and old cravings do not have power over you. The chains of the past are broken through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. Don’t choose the old way — choose Christ. 

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Jesus is the Bondage Breaker. Cast every bondage of the past over to Christ and He will set you free. ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” He cares about you. Surrender your struggles to Christ. Cast your cares over to God, and He will set you free.
