Whom Having Not Seen Ye LoveSample
Love Walks On Water.
“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14:28-29 KJV.
Focus on Christ. Focus on the God who you cannot see. Choose to trust in the Savior, who you cannot see. Peter saw Jesus walking on water and did not believe that is was Christ. Peter declared, “If it is you, bid me to come unto water.” Jesus replied with one word, “Come.” Choose to trust God with His One Word. Choose to surrender to His One Word. Love submits. Love surrenders. A soft heart receives and is ready to listen to instruction. Faith trusts in God.
When was the last time you trusted God? When was the last time you believed God’s One Word? When was the last time you moved forward and leaned in with limited information? Sometimes, when it’s just you and God, the storm may be seem bigger than His One Word. In times of the storm, choose to focus on His Word. In times of the storm, choose to focus on obeying God. Love is the foundation of obedience. Let Love navigate your course.
Jesus commanded Peter to “Come.” There was no training manual. There wasn’t a safety net. There was no other instruction but to “Come.” Love will cause you to come. Faith will cause you to go. It’s time to walk out on the water with Christ. Let His “Come” become greater than your fear. Let His Come become greater than your struggle. Let His Come become greater than what you can see. It is time to step out of the boat. Step out on His Love. Step out on Faith. Choose to Come. Write that book. Build that business. Launch that ministry. Start that workshop. Walk in your Call. It’s time to Come.
