What’s Controlling You? 

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” Galatians‬ ‭5:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When you walk in the Spirit, and live your life as His Spirit orders your steps — you will reap God‘s results. When you follow God’s Way of doing things, He will lead and guide your path. Psalms‬ ‭119:133‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” When His Word orders your steps, sin and lust does not have dominion or authority over you. Choose to let Christ have dominion in every area of your heart. 

Galatians‬ ‭5:16-18‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God). For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the [Holy] Spirit, and the [desires of the] Spirit are opposed to the flesh (godless human nature); for these are antagonistic to each other [continually withstanding and in conflict with each other], so that you are not free but are prevented from doing what you desire to do. But if you are guided (led) by the [Holy] Spirit, you are not subject to the Law.” Make it a habit to live out the Word of God. Choose to surrender to His Word daily and cast down everything that’s not like Him. Let His Word and Character flourish in every area of your life. Let His Word fill and take deep root within every crevasse of your heart.
