Minor Adjustments: "Anywhere But Backward"Sample

Minor Adjustments: "Anywhere But Backward"

DAY 1 OF 8

## "You Must Have an Introduction" When I first wrote my first book, Pushed out the Crack House into God’s House, I didn’t realize that it would be used for other things. Pushed out the crack house was my life message that I have shared everywhere I was asked to speak. This reading plan was put together with much prayer and heart-searching. The purpose of this reading plan is to teach you how to allow your past to push you into your destiny. The term Crack House represents a broken place or a broken person, and the term God’s House represents something greater. It’s my aim to try and take that brokenness that you have inside and use it to push you into something greater! The things you read in the 8-day reading plan have been accumulated over the years of my incarcerations and addiction, as well as the life lessons I’ve learned from others. I have to inform you right now that in this reading plan we will be dealing with a lot of simplicity! Experts say the average person is now bombarded with 35,000 messages a day: e-mails, text messages, billboards, television, radio, Twitter, Facebook, blogs, etc. It’s “information overload.” People don’t need more information; they need to learn how to apply the information they already have. One of the main reasons I’m doing this plan is because if I can use what I’ve been through to help stop someone from making the same wrong turn I’ve may have taken early in my life, then maybe that one individual will reach all the others that I couldn’t reach. My goal and my focus are always about You, and what I need you to focus on is who you are, where you are, what you have, and what you can do in Christ. In order for you to achieve the maximum benefit out of your purpose you must introduce the old you to the new you and be willing to go ANYWHERE BUT BACKWARD!
