The Love Walk

From the first day I began to hear the words, "those who trust in the Lord shall not be disappointed", and throughout the next year, I awoke practically every morning and went to sleep almost every night quoting this phrase. It became a family motto. God was preparing us to learn how to walk in an exciting, peaceful state of victory we had never before known. 

I want to remind you of one secret that is paramount to everything else. There can be no real, lasting trust in God apart from a love walk  with Him. Only to someone we have known and experienced personally can we ultimately release trust—someone we have invested enough time to know intimately. 

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose trust is the Lord. Jeremiah 17:7

Pray Out Loud:

Lord, I desire to develop a deeper and closer walk with You. I want to grow in my understanding of Your character so I may know You better. I love You, Lord, and I want to be in a love walk with You where You become my best friend. In Jesus' name. Amen
