Love God Greatly: EstherSample

How amazing is it that a Jewish orphan girl would one day become the queen of a prominent world empire. Only God can orchestrate events like that! We know from our reading that Esther was a stunning woman, and it didn't take long for the king to realize that too. In God's divine plan, Esther was made queen and given a position that would allow her to one day save her people. 

One very powerful lesson found in the book of Esther is that God does nothing without a specific purpose. All of God's purposes are good, even if they don't seem so at the time. We will all go through difficult days, but we must remember how God works in our lives. He works in such a way that will always bring glory to Him and growth to His people.

Dear God, Thank you for how You have worked in my life. Thank you for redeeming my hurt and bringing good out of it. Your ways are perfect. Help me to remember that truth during those times in my life when I want to question You and Your plans for me. Like Esther, may my life bring You glory and place me where you need me most. Your will over mine.
