10 Days To A Better Back To SchoolSample
Psalm 9:1-2
I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
Finding joy in the “ordinary” is a hard thing to do at times. It is easy to be joyful when great things are happening in your family, when you get a raise, when your child excels in sports or school. But finding joy while you change diapers, do the tenth load of laundry, cook the same meals you cooked last week, go to the grocery store in the rain…finding joy in those “ordinary” moments in the life of a mom- that can be very difficult. But when you realize your joy comes from the Lord, you can find joy in those moments.
Today as you go about your day, whatever tasks are at hand, be joyful! Give God praise throughout your day and give Him all the glory in the ordinary things of life. We serve the Creator of the universe, a holy and righteous God, Lord over all, One who is worthy of our praise.
As you conduct your everyday life, thank God for even the smallest of things. It will change your day!
Prayer
Father,
Thank You for this day. Thank You for my children and my family. God, You have blessed me beyond measure. You have flooded my life with Your blessings even in the small things in life. Help me to open my eyes to the wonders of Your world. Give me Your joy today and every day! Amen.

About this Plan
Going back to school raises many emotions for moms. Some moms have been counting down the days until school resumes, while others wish that the lackadaisical days of summer would go on forever. For the next ten days author Karen Stubbs, founder of Birds on a Wire Moms, will walk you through Scripture exploring fear, time management, priorities, and more to prepare your heart for the school year ahead.
