From Beginning To End - Quarter 3Sample

The Kingdom of Israel was divided between Rehoboam and Jeroboam. Rehoboam’s downfall was listening to immature advisers. It’s funny that even thousands of years ago, people were still arguing about taxes. God kept His promise to David by continuing to have one of David’s descendants as king, even if it was of a reduced kingdom.
It’s a good idea to seek advice from others when making an important decision, but our advisers should be people capable of giving good advice rather than those who will tell us what we want to hear. Seeking God’s advice would have been even better!

About this Plan

This is part three of a four-part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one story from beginning to end of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
