What’s Your Process?
Diligence is intentional. Diligence is proactive and creates innovative strategies that solve complex problems. Take the time to evaluate and examine the processes that you’ve set in place in and around your life. Whether it’s examining the health of your spiritual life, the health of your family, the health of your business, the health of your ministry, or the health of your finances — choose to diligently examine and weigh every area of your life.
Where you find slack you’ll find lack. Ask God to give you the wisdom to appropriately steward the people, platform, and the resources that He has so graciously given you. James 1:5 states, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” Simply ask God for wisdom, guidance, instruction and insight. Ask God, what are your next steps? What diligent steps can you make today in order to establish and set the trajectory of your future? God holds the future in His hands, so why not ask Him for the appropriate guidance and instruction?
Trust His direction. Proverbs 3:5-6 states to, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Ask God to guide your path and give you wisdom as to how to create better processes and pathways for others to follow. Let God guide you. Let His Word produce His fruit through you in every season. Let God guide you through every valley and mountain. Diligently pray and ask God to guide your footsteps — He will lead you — if you ask Him.
Diligently search out the scriptures to find examples of individuals, in the Bible, who have faced similar situations like the one you’re facing. When you diligently apply God’s Wisdom, Insight and His Counsel, through His Word and in prayer, He will establish your path. Seek Him. Choose to follow His Voice and seek out wise counsel.
Proverbs 14:8 KJV states, “The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.” The wise will seek out wisdom in order to effectively chart his course. Seek out wisdom through the Word of God. Seek out mature and Godly counsel. Don’t selfishly leap forward into uncharted territory without engaging God first. Diligently seek and surround yourself with wise counsel. Proverbs 14:8 AMPC states, “The Wisdom [godly Wisdom, which is comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] of the prudent is to understand his way, but the folly of [self-confident] fools is to deceive.” Do not be deceived and presumptuously move forward without letting His Word guide and light your path. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalms 119:105 KJV
Action:
Quietly sit before God and surrender your heart to Him. Proverbs 16:3 AMPC states to, “Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.” Diligence requires focus. Choose to diligently give God your focus and attention.
