Day Fifteen: Psalms 79-Psalms 147
The Psalms are contributed by multiple authors in this section, a testament of David’s influence as well as the vital musical element even from Moses on.
Music is the soul of a nation, and as so the very soul of God’s People—extending even to the New Testament—is memorialized in the Psalms. The Psalms earmark God’s work from the rest of the religions of the world, differentiating them and in many ways defining God—a God who desires the affections (a real relationship) of His people.
