DAY FIVE: The Lion is Roaring for You
The Lion of Judah is roaring in heaven right now.
My prayer is that the church today would wake up and realize our kingdom identity, which will always be rooted in Israel. Jesus is the Lion of Judah—He has not lost His Jewishness but instead will forever be identified as a Jew. I pray that more Christians today will begin to understand the fuller meaning of this and explore the Jewish roots of their faith not for the sake of gaining information but to receive the deeper revelation of Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of all things.
I also pray for my fellow Jews around the world to have the blinders removed from their eyes regarding Yeshua and to see Him for who He really is. He is not just some “Christian” savior caricatured on the stained-glass windows of Catholic cathedrals; He is the Lion of Judah who roars over Zion and who will forever be jealous over His chosen people, the Jews.
Despite what today separates Christians and Jews, one day we will return to the kingdom identity the Lion of Judah has longed for us to share from the beginning—His people, walking with Him in true relationship.

About this Plan
Ask any Jew what the difference is between Judaism and Christianity, and he will say one word: Jesus. In this 5-day devotional, Rabbi Kirt A. Schneider unpacks why understanding the person of Jesus is instrumental in bridging the gap between Judaism and Christianity.
