Epic (Part 1): The Storyline of the BibleSample
Moses is also supposed to be a victim of Egypt’s oppression of Israel. Through a series of events, Moses’s life is spared by a member of the ruling family that wants him and all his people killed. Even Moses crying was used by God to accomplish His plan. Even though Moses was raised in an Egyptian household, he still felt connected to his own people. The end of the chapter hints that God has something in mind and, in the next few chapters, we are going to discover that Moses will deliver Israel from slavery.
Often in the Bible, we see God working in ways that show He is the One really in charge. Even the most powerful of people can have their plans changed when God steps in. We need that reminder when we are facing the seemingly impossible.
