Ancora Kids Pray The PsalmsSample

How to be king
See what you can discover about David, the writer of the psalm, and his relationship with God.
Read Psalm 27 if you haven’t already done so.
What is God like?
Look in verses 1, 7, 10, 11 and 12 to find out.
Choose one of these ways to pray:
1 Put on outdoor clothes or a bike helmet. Pray: “Father, God, protect me from ……………..”
Or
2 Kneel and ask God to forgive you for …………………….
Or
3 Make a treasure trail for someone in your house that leads to a Bible. Pray Psalm 27, verse 11 together.
What did David do?
Look in verses 4, 6 and 14.
Choose one of these ways to pray:
1 Draw yourself. Imagine God’s Spirit in and around you. Pray: “Help me, God, to keep close to you.”
Or
2 Sing your favourite worship song.
Or
3 Make a poster with the words: TRUST IN THE LORD.
If you have time, read Psalm 27 again, thinking about all you have discovered.

About this Plan
