Praying God's Word Over Your Kids: Part 1Sample
You've heard it said that many people believe in Jesus in their head but that valuable information has never transformed their heart. A simple 18-inch southerly journey is what is needed to revolutionize someone from the inside out.
For our children to know Jesus as Lord and Savior is pertinent in their walk with Him. Yet, many hold tight to the Savior part because they don't want to be robbed from an eternity without Jesus. The part many neglect is the Lord part. Lord of what, you ask? Lord of everything. Our dreams, desires, goals, relationships, careers...everything.
But when we walk faithfully with God, day in and day out, our desires and dreams tend to fade and are replaced with God's desires and dreams. Walking consistently with Him has proven to elude many Jesus followers. I believe this is mostly because we love our feelings, and when they diminish, it's hard to stay committed. It takes an effort to invest, learn and grow in our relationships. This includes our relationship with Jesus.
Pray with me that our children will walk faithfully with Jesus all the days of their lives.

About this Plan
Praying for our children is instinctual as parents. We are constantly praying for their health, well being and happiness. All of those are great, but let's go deeper in our prayers for them. As Jesus followers, the Word of God is our foundation for truth and because of that, it makes sense that we should use it as our guide. Join Cindy as she shares prayers with you that she has prayed over her three sons and walk in faith that you will see it all come to pass in your own children's lives.
