FLOODLIGHTS!

Have you ever seen a floodlit building or sports field? It shows up really clearly in the dark.

Read Matthew chapter 5, verses 14 to 16, if you haven’t already done so.

Imagine switching on a torch and then putting it in a cupboard and closing the door. What would be the point of that? Instead, you use the torch to give out light.

Read the Bible verses again and think:

· Who should see your light?

· What will they see?

· Who will be praised?

Pray. “Dear God, please help me to be obedient to you so that I shine out for others. I want people to learn more about you when they see me.”
