Love’s Touch

When love touches the broken it repairs when love acknowledges the hidden it builds confidence, when love lances out to the deep, it walks on water, when love is pure it is just, and when love has a few ingredients it can feed thousands.

When Jesus touched (or was touched), He healed. God’s agape love is supernatural. The same authority, power, and strength that rose Jesus from the dead is inside you and is there to empower you to touch and heal.

There are three characteristics of love that can touch and bring healing to our culture:

1. Removing oneself - Philippians 2:3 says “Don’t do anything for selfish purposes, but with humility think of others as better than yourselves.”
2. Remember grace - Ephesians 4:32 reads “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
3. Relationship with God - “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” - John 15:5
