The Good News Of The GospelSample

Christianity says that the Gospel is the good news - the message of Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. His atonement for the sins of humanity. We are taught in church that Jesus did this in order to bridge a gap between humanity and God. This is what I was taught my entire life, and I do believe it to a degree; however, I am starting to experience an even deeper revelation into this marvelous act. John 1 says, "In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him."

Everything that has ever existed, and will ever exist, began inside of the relationship with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who love one another in absolute oneness. I continue to ask myself why modern day Christianity continues to teach a message of separation - where God is a cellestial, cast-iron being, disappointed with his creation. This notion seems erroneous as I continue to lean deeper into the revelation that we are now included into this relationship with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As I experience God's grace and patience within my own life, I'm continuing to realize that the clearer message of the Gospel is simply that we are brought into this relationship, that we are adopted and chosen, and that we are all in process as He continues the good work in us all!
