Have you ever met a very important person? People queue at concerts or film premieres to see someone famous. Usually there are loads of police officers, TV crews and press photographers. Sometimes there is even a red carpet for the celebrity to walk on.
Read Exodus chapter 19 verses 1 to 3 if you haven’t already done so.
Where did Moses meet with God?
A palace?
The desert?
A church?
A mountain?
Mount Sinai was high, rocky and in the middle of the desert. No red carpets, no crowds or cameras, but an awesome place for a person to meet an awesome God!
Pray. “Thank You, God, that even though You are so mighty and awesome, You met with Moses—and You want to meet with us, too.”
