The kingdoms of the world will become the Kingdom of our Lord and His Messiah (Rev. 11:15). What Satan offers Jesus is false glory and false power. True power and glory, Jesus knows, are found in worshipping and serving God alone, even if that worship and service leads to death. The greatest demonstration of Jesus’ power and glory is found in His submission to the Father’s will to the point of death on the cross. This death, Jesus knows, opens the way to true glory. (Luke 24:26.)
