Scripture Reading Isaiah 59:1-21 Today’s Key Verse: Isaiah 59:21a [The LORD says:] “And I make a covenant with you: I have given you my power and my teachings to be yours forever.” Reflect What sins does the prophet bring to the people’s attention (verses 1-8)? How do the people respond (verse 9-11)? What do the people confess (verses 12-15)? Reread verse 21. What does it mean to you to be in a covenant relationship with God?  According to verse 21, what does God require? Pray Lord God, you have given us your teachings.
