Great Is God’s Faithfulness

Christmas is a busy time of year. There’s always lots to do. Lots to prepare. Long to-do lists to tick things off. Christmas is also a time when we look to the child born in Bethlehem all those years ago, wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. Here is real hope for an uncertain future.

Whatever storms we weathered in the year that has been, we have the promise of Jesus to carry us into 2022.

Whatever is happening in your life right now, you can be sure that Jesus is walking with you. Yes, He walks with you even through that valley of the shadow of death. You can be sure that He will lead you into that place of safety. Why? Because He delights in you! You are precious to Him. You are special. He cares for you very deeply.

The words of the hymn ring true: ‘Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided…’ Great is God’s faithfulness. There is nothing that can separate us from His great love.

This is the hope that will carry you into the year to come. Whatever it might hold, whatever challenges it might bring, there will also be joy, knowing that we walk with a faithful God whose steadfast love endures forever and ever.
