Psalm 63:2-4

Seitdem habe ich die Kraft des Fastens entdeckt und die Auswirkungen auf mein Leben waren enorm. Ich lade dich ein, mit mir einen Aspekt des Fastens zu entdecken: die Entwicklung eines geistigen Hungers.

This 5-day plan will go through Psalms 63 explaining David’s heart of worship. You will learn that we are a living sacrifice to worship God wholeheartedly, freely, and passionately. David worshipped God because he knew how much he was loved by Him. David’s sense of deep love from God was the wellspring of his heart for God. This plan will encourage you to have a heart of worship.

Often we feel as if we’re not doing enough. Then we feel guilty because we’re supposed to be having quiet times with God too—but when we try to slow down, our hearts and minds are still busy. The story of Mary and Martha offers us guidance as well as grace in this tension. It’s a story of two sisters. It’s a story for each of us.

King David is described in the New Testament as a man after God’s own heart, meaning that he aligned his own heart with that of God’s. As we study David’s life, our goal for this series is to analyze the things David did in 1 & 2 Samuel in order to mold our hearts after God’s and resemble the same intensity of focus and spirit that David showcased throughout his life.
