Back To Our First Love

With time, with facing the many challenges of life, our relationship with Jesus can easily become stagnant, complacent or even cold. Our serving Him becomes a lower priority - there are many other things that take precedence. We lose our first love for Him and this was the condition seen by John in his vision of the Ephesian church in Revelation.

And Jesus urges them to repent and do the things they had done at first. What about you? Do you need to regain your first love for Jesus? It is time to come back to your first love and serve Him with all your heart.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I want to come back to my first love for you. I am sorry that I have allowed the busyness of life, other priorities and temptations to rob me of my first love for you. Please forgive me. I dedicate my life to you, that I will love you and serve you with all my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
