chapter seventeen
1this has Yehoshua spoken; and lifting up his eyes to the heaven, did he say; Father, it is come the hour; glorify your Son, so that the Son shall you glorify; 2as you (SG) have him given power over every flesh (and blood), so that he shall give eternal life to everyone, who you (SG) have him given. 3and this is the eternal life, that they shall you know, the only true G-d, and Yehoshua the Moshiach, whom you (SG) you have sent. 4I have you glorified on the earth, I have completed the work, which you (SG) you have me given to do. 5and now, Father, glorify you (SG) me, with the glorification, which I did have beside you (SG), before the world is (created) become. 6I have revealed your Name to the men, which you (SG) have me given out of the world; yours are they were, and you (SG) did them me give; and they did keep your word. 7now know they, that all, which you (SG) have me given, is from you (SG); 8because the words, which you (SG) have me given, have I them given; and they did them accept, and in truth recognized, that I am come forth from you (SG); and did believe, that you (SG) did me send. 9I ask you for their sake; I ask not for the world, but for those, whom you (SG) have me given, because they are yours; 10and all, which is mine, is yours, and yours is mine; and I am glorified in them. 11and I am more not in the world, and they are in the world, and I come to you (SG). holy Father, protect them in your Name, which you (SG) have me given, so that they should be one, just as we! 12while I was with them, did I them protect in your Name, which you (SG) did me give; and did watch (over them), and anyone of them is not lost gone, except the son of destruction (lost one son), so that the verse shall fulfilled to be. 13now however go I to you (SG); and this say I in the world, so that they should have my joy perfected in themselves. 14I have them given your word; and the world does them hate, because they are not of the world, exactly as I am not of the world. 15I ask not, that you (SG) shall them remove out of the world, but that you (SG) shall them keep from evil. 16they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. 18as you (SG) did me send in the world into, so have I them sent in the world into. 19and for their sake sanctify I myself, so that they should be sanctified in the truth. 20and not only for the these alone ask I, but also for those, who will believe in me through their word, 21so that all should be one; as you (SG), Father, in me, and I in you (SG), that also they should be in us; so that the world shall believe, that you (SG) you have me sent. 22and the glory, which you (SG) have me given, have I them given, so that they should be one just as we are one. 23I in them, and you (SG) in me, so that they shall become perfected into one, so that the world shall know, that you (SG) have me sent, and did them love have, just as that way as you (SG) did me love have. 24Father, I want, that where I am, should also be with me those, whom you (SG) you have me given, so that they shall see my glory, which you (SG) you have me given; because you (SG) you have me love had from before the foundation of the world. 25righteous Father, the world did you not know, I however did you yes know; and the these know, that you (SG) you have me sent; 26and I did to them known made your Name, and will Him known make, so that the love, with which you (SG) have me loved had, shall be in them, and I in them.
