Newsboys: That’s How You Change The World

When I think of world changers, some of the names that come to mind are people like Rosa Parks, Billy Graham, and Martin Luther King. I’m sure there are more recent ones that also come to mind who are doing great things to change the world we live in.

I think we all have a desire to do something that impacts the world in a positive way, but it can feel a little overwhelming when we think of some of these great world changers! You may think, “Wow, I want to help change the world, but I mean, I’m so young, and I could never do things like that person did.” I think we all have felt that way at some point in our lives. Comparison can be a dangerous game!

I’m reminded of what Mother Teresa said, “Not all of us can do great things. But we all can do small things with great love.” I think that is truly the heart of Jesus’ message as he walked on this earth. He never called us to try and do super crazy stuff, he simply asked us to walk in faith, and show love to those around us.

When you see someone hurting, offer your support, when you see someone in need, help them. When you see someone down, encourage them. That’s how you change the world.
