DAY 2: Abide in God
Many believers have more faith in the ability of the enemy to deceive them than in their own ability to hear from God. We must understand that hearing from heaven is not something that we do but rather a part of who we are.
Picture a satellite receiver. It receives communication from the primary satellite. You do not have to constantly worry about whether or not it will receive communication. It was made to do just that. You simply connect it to your devices and voilà, there it is—broadcast received, data relayed. There is clear communication without disruption because that is what it was created for.
We are called to abide in God. Part of that abiding is becoming aware of His systems of communication and the fact that revelation is our birthright as children of God. The Father has laid out a unique and blessed path for each one of us; it is our privilege to discover every step. Not only that, but His voice creates light upon the path so we clearly see the way and navigate forward. We are to live lives that are in sync with the thoughts and intents of our Father’s heart. We are to be planted fully and deeply in Him without shame or fear.
