He Will Make All Things Right!Sampl
Prophecies of Jesus coming back again
There are so many Scriptures where God’s Word promises us that Jesus Christ will come back for us. He promises to then make all things right, and He has given up everything so that we could have that wonderful privilege. The wait is sometimes very difficult, but eternally worth it!
Here are a few of His wonderful promises:
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18: “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.”
Jesus said in John 14:3: “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” And then in Revelation 22:12, He said: “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.”
Titus 2:13 assures us that we are “looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus”, and in 1 Thessalonians 5:23: “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
James 5:7 encourages us to “be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains.” And 1 Corinthians 4:5 tells us to “not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s praise will come to him from God.”
Jesus blessed us in Matthew 25:31 with these wonderful words: “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.”
And then as He ascended into heaven in Acts 1:9-11: “And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
Here are a few more of the exciting promises of Jesus’ coming, which you will find in the scripture references for today:
Matthew 24:42-44
1 Corinthians 15:50-58
Philippians 3:20
1 Thessalonians 5:1-3
Reflection: In light of all these amazing encouragements, doesn’t this make our waiting filled so much more with opportunity and heavenly anticipation? Put your complete trust in God to accomplish everything with His perfect justice, in His perfect time. He WILL make all things right!
