Revival - Finding God in a Busy WorldUkázka
Reviving Faith.
Revival inspires our faith, keeping it continuously hooked on God’s promises.
Our friend Sarah laughed when the angel reaffirmed God’s promise to Abraham about blessing them with a son (Isaac). As old as they were, her human mind could not imagine it. In fact, it was humanly impossible for that to happen. I would have laughed as well if I were also in her shoes.
Guess who also laughed? Her husband, Abraham. When God first told Abraham that the promised child would come through Sara, he bowed and laughed in disbelief. Yes, he did (see Gen. 17: 17).
Over time, Abraham had always had the first contact with God, so he developed such an intimate relationship with God that shaped his faith. Each time he had a chit-chat with God, he was reminded of His numerous promises, and he was experiencing some of them as they unfolded. I believe this strengthened his faith. The Bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing God.
Abraham’s faith revived Sarah’s, and she started living in a heightened consciousness of God, who made them the promise. She judged Him faithful to keep His word.
Reviving faith transforms how we see life, it transports us to a world of continuous possibilities for the fulfillment of God’s purpose over our lives in a world full of distractions and voices that whisper impossibilities.

What about Revival? Have you tried going the whole day without drinking water, especially during a hot sunny day when you had to be outdoors for hours? I bet at some point, you became so parched that all you could think of was getting your hands on a glass of ice-cold water. The relief is almost magical because you suddenly feel refreshed and alive. This is what revival is, and that is why it is an important part of our lives.
