Trust Christ. Trust His Counsel. 

“My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.” Proverbs‬ ‭1:8-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Listen to wise counsel. Let Godly Wisdom and seasoned instructors lead your footsteps. Let God guide your footsteps as you submit to His Word. Tie His Word around your neck. Hide His Word in your heart. Bury His Word in the ground of your heart. Let His Word nourish your course.

Proverbs‬ ‭1:8-10‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “My son, hear the instruction of your father; reject not nor forsake the teaching of your mother. For they are a [victor's] chaplet (garland) of grace upon your head and chains and pendants [of gold worn by kings] for your neck. My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.” 

If sinners entice you — choose to resist temptation. Do not consent to the way of the unrighteous. Let wisdom and Godly Instruction become your garland upon your head. Clothe yourself in His Word. Dress yourself in His Way of doing things. 

Follow the path of the righteous. Follow the Way of Christ. Pattern yourself after His Word and Christ will not lead you astray. Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.”
