PRAYER
You have been softhearted with me, oh Lord, and I am grateful. I pray today that you would be softhearted with your people in my country, and make us softhearted toward our neighbors. Show us how we can demonstrate your sympathetic heart to the needs of those around us. May our leaders have softhearted spirits. May they have sympathy for the people they govern, and may they be emotionally responsive to people’s needs.
