Your Heavenly Home: We will have real bodies
Everybody is curious as to what our bodies will be like in heaven. But I’ll tell you what--you won’t get accurate information from cartoons or TV shows or popular religious mythology. We aren’t going to be transformed into angels--no wings and halos. We’re not just going to be spirits. God has promised to raise us from the dead--soul and body. We will enjoy real, physical lives with God and with our fellow saints.
A suffering but confident believer named Job said thousands of years ago, “After my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes. . . . How my heart yearns within me!” (19:26,27).
Mine too, Job.
