Silent Killers: Shame

DAY 6 OF 6

Challenge

This week, we’ve defined what shame is and identified ways that the devil uses shame against us. We’ve learned that the devil uses shame to cover us up and keep us from fulfilling the story that God is writing for us. The truth is that Jesus died and rose again to redeem us from shame, and to give us His grace to combat shame in our lives. We encourage you to find someone that you trust - a parent, pastor, or leader - and talk about what you discovered through this plan. The devil thrives on isolating us, but we know that the way to kill a silent killer is to get loud about it.

Action Steps: Review your journal or notes from the past week. What are your top 3 takeaways from this week? Why did those things stand out to you?
