“I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” Isaiah 62:6-7.
Prayer
Holy One of Israel, You chose Jerusalem to be Your resting place forever, because You long for her. Rise up, have mercy on Zion, because the time to be merciful to her, because the appointed time has come. We yearn for it that the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled and Jerusalem is no longer trampled upon. That Your Word will go out from Zion and Your righteousness from Jerusalem. Care for this city and let the time come when the throne of David will be established again in Jerusalem.
