Still Standingنموونە

God has given each of us a purpose in Jesus Christ. This purpose guides our entire lives, driving our ambitions and actions to ultimately carry out God’s will. Living out our purpose is no small deal; rather, it should be a central focus of how we live as we strive in faith toward the good works He has already prepared for us.
This journey of faith and purpose can be difficult and overwhelming, but in 2 Timothy 4:7, the apostle Paul shares a powerful testimony of his perseverance. Despite living a life marked by persecution and hardship, Paul overcame it all by the grace and strength of the Lord Jesus. By the end of his life, he was still standing in faith.
The same God who sustained Paul to keep the faith in finishing the race will also uphold you. Paul’s testimony gives us hope that we can complete the tasks given to us in Christ and overcome any obstacle in our way by the grace of God. It doesn’t matter where you are in the journey now, you can still finish. Whether you’ve been running this race all your life, or you’re just starting, it’s never too late to purposely run toward the work He’s given us and ultimately finish well.
