I can think of so many times when God has delivered me – from situations, from fear, from well, you can fill in the blank – He has done it. Today, our reminder is that not only does work in the past, but He works in the present and future. Not only has He delivered me in the past – but He will do it again and again just as Paul writes in Corinthians. Because of this we can continue to place our hope and trust in Him daily. We are reminded, that no matter what we face, God is with us, and not only that, but He will deliver you in the midst of whatever you may be facing. My Hope is placed on the one that delivers!
PRAYER
Lord, as we go about our day today, may I be reminded of all of the times you have delivered me. Help me to continue to place my hope and trust in you – that you are my deliverer. May I be filled with hope and expectation for what you are going to do in my life. I love you Jesus – thank you for being my deliverer. Amen.
