We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to Godنموونە

Day 102 of 365
In Joshua 20, God establishes cities of refuge, places of safety for those seeking mercy and justice. These cities reflect God’s heart for compassion, showing us that He desires for each of us to find safety in Him. The Holy Spirit reminds us that God Himself is our ultimate refuge, offering us shelter and forgiveness when we come to Him. In His presence, we find a sanctuary from guilt, fear, and condemnation—an unbreakable place of peace and protection.
In Luke 11, Jesus calls out the hypocrisy of hardened hearts, warning against living in stubbornness and pride. The Spirit invites us to seek refuge not in self-righteousness but in humility, leading us to lay down our burdens at God’s feet. Only in surrendering to Him can we find the peace and forgiveness that our hearts crave.
Today, let the Spirit guide you into God’s refuge. Surrender every fear, worry, and guilt into His loving hands, and allow Him to shield you with His grace. In His embrace, you are secure, forgiven, and deeply loved, finding the peace that surpasses all understanding.
