Radiant YTH Adventنموونە

Have you ever felt love? Most people would describe it as a warm, fuzzy feeling that makes them feel good. That’s easy to think when we watch romantic comedies and listen to songs that focus on romantic relationships. But when it comes to God’s love, it’s so much more powerful and real, and is bigger than just “feeling good.”
In 1 John, we learn that God sent Jesus to the world to show us His ultimate love. But it wasn’t something He used to just “make us feel good.” He sent Jesus to transform our lives from the inside out. This is real love: God sent His one and only Son so that we might believe in Him and live an everlasting life. When Jesus came to the world, His death saved us from being trapped in our sin and moved us to relationship with God. It was the ultimate act of selflessness and love - Jesus did what was necessary for our good, even if it meant that it would cost Him everything.
So what does this mean for us today? It means that we’re called to share this transforming news and love with others! It’s too good to keep it to ourselves. Experiencing God’s love changes how we see ourselves and others. Once we experience God’s love and accept Him into our hearts, we become a new creation. What an incredible gift to be saved from what draws us away from God.
- Bottom Line: God’s love is real and sacrificial. It’s not just about feeling good, but about transforming our lives.
- Response: In your prayer time, ask God to give you a new sense of confidence to share about His love with others.
