How often do we feel tired, worn out, exhausted, and overwhelmed? It is something that is talked about a lot. Life is full on and we don’t always feel that we can cope. Perhaps we have overcommitted, said yes to an event for the wrong reasons or maybe we don’t have the emotional capacity for a difficult situation. We all feel like this sometimes.
While it’s good to reassess our lives and set good boundaries, it’s crucial that we also go back to our maker. God made us and knows us better than we know ourselves. We are not limitless beings. In fact, we run out and run dry quite quickly and that is how we are meant to be. We are designed to need regular refreshing, replenishing, and renewing.
As we put our hope into God, when we trust in Hi,m and when we wait in his presence, we are strengthened. He lifts us from the quagmire of our weakness. He provides supernaturally so that we can persevere through circumstances that would be unbearable otherwise. He sustains us.
Jesus came to give us life and life to the full. He invites us to take our rest with him and shows us a new way that is free and light. And as we do this, our cup overflows.
Questions: In what areas of your life are you not resting in God?
Prayer: Jesus, please replenish me afresh today. My hope is in you and you alone.

About this Plan
We are in the grip of a slow awakening in the student world as we continue to hear story after story of students coming to know Jesus. This is a story that hasn’t just begun now, it's been unfolding across generations, prayers of those who have sown in tears that God would move powerfully in this nation and the next generation; we are standing on the answered prayers of those faithful intercessors.
